The plant belongs to the genus Penstemon of the Plantaginaceae family and has an upright growth habit. The height and diameter of the bush are about 60 cm. The leaves are lanceolate in shape and colored grass-green.

The flowers of the variety have a magenta shade and a white throat, gathered in spicate inflorescences. The variety is distinguished by early flowering and is capable of blooming in the first year when sown from seeds.
