Variety description

The plant is a compact bush 45–55 cm high and up to 65 cm wide with upright, rigid burgundy-colored stems. The leaves are linear, medium-green, transitioning to a bronze-red shade in the autumn period. The flowers are tubular, two-lipped, lavender-purple with a white throat, gathered in loose panicles at the tops of the stems.

Flowering of the variety occurs from late spring to mid-summer. The plant prefers full sun and well-drained soils, exhibiting drought tolerance after rooting. The variety is winter hardy in USDA zones 4–9, characterized by resistance to lodging and major diseases, but requires protection from excessive soil moisture. It propagates exclusively vegetatively.
