Variety description

The plant is a compact upright perennial 40–50 cm in height and width. The foliage is semi-evergreen, consisting of dark green, narrow-ovate, lanceolate leaves.
The flowers are large, tubular, colored in the shade of watermelon flesh with a bright white throat, and form on vertical flower stalks. The flowering period lasts up to 20 weeks; deadheading stimulates repeat flowering.
The variety prefers sunny sites with well-drained soils and is drought-tolerant once established. Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 7–9; in harsher climates, mulching or cultivation as an annual is required.
