Under the general name «Kadeřavá», breeding companies sell seeds of various parsley lines with strongly incised, "curly" leaves of an intense green color. Based on this type, independent varieties have been developed, such as «Žanet» and «Astra».

The plant is biennial, but is grown as an annual leaf crop. It is characterized by rapid regeneration of greens after cutting and is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for drying and freezing.

The crop prefers deep, moist, and light soils and is resistant to low temperatures. It requires regular watering, especially at the seed germination stage, which occurs slowly. Due to its decorative appearance, it is used as a seasoning and for garnishing dishes.
