Mid-season plant with high growth vigor, requiring the installation of supports. Fruiting lasts from July until frost. The variety is thermophilic, sensitive to low temperatures, and requires good air circulation to prevent fungal diseases.

The pods contain no fibers at a young age; the seeds have a characteristic variegated color. Due to its decorative qualities and active growth, the variety is widely used in vertical landscaping and in cooking as a snap bean or shell bean.
