The Riposta variety is a bush form, which is rare for runner beans. The plant reaches a height of 35–50 cm, forms white flowers and wide, slightly curved pods approximately 14 cm long.
The seeds are large, white, cylindrical in shape with a slight sheen; the thousand kernel weight is 1500–1700 g. The variety is intended for the production of dry seeds and is suitable for both amateur and industrial cultivation.
