The variety is an annual vigorous plant, whose stems reach a height of 4 meters. The leaves are large, egg-shaped, and form a dense green mass. The flowering period with bright red inflorescences-clusters lasts from June to September.
The fruits are long fleshy pods of flat cross-section, reaching 30 cm in length. The seed color varies from dark purple to black. Seed ripening occurs in late September — October, and harvesting of pods for culinary needs is recommended in August and September.
