The variety is a climbing crop with stems that grow up to 3–4 meters in height. The pods are characterized by the absence of tough fibers and reach a length of about 15 cm. The seeds have a dark purple color with characteristic speckles.

The plant has high productivity. The harvest is suitable for fresh consumption, addition to salads, and freezing, while the variety retains the ornamental qualities typical of Phaseolus coccineus.
