The plant is vigorous, climbing, and requires the installation of sturdy supports. Leaves are large, trifoliate, and dark green. Flowering is abundant; flowers are bright red. The variety exhibits high adaptability, is capable of setting pods in a cool period, and is demanding of moisture.
Light green pods reach 17–22 cm in length. At a young age, they lack a parchment layer and are suitable for whole consumption; when overgrown, they become fibrous. Large grain has a purple color with black dots and veins and possesses an oily texture suitable for puree. The harvest is ready for gathering 90–100 days after sowing.
