The plant is a vigorous climbing variety reaching a height of 2.5–4 meters. The leaves are large, trifoliate, and dark green in color. The long, straight, and fleshy pods reach a length of about 22 cm.
The variety begins to bear fruit in early summer. The young pods have no parchment layer or fibers, and therefore are used for food as snap beans. Fully mature seeds are large, plump, and lilac-colored with a dark purple marbled pattern.
The plants are distinguished by their ability to set fruit in various weather conditions and possess a certain cold tolerance. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew and halo blight. It is also used for decorative purposes for vertical landscaping.
