The White Apollo variety is a climbing plant of the species Phaseolus coccineus L. A characteristic feature is the presence of white flowers. During the summer period, the plant forms an abundant crop of long, straight, green pods suitable for consumption.

Biologically, the variety is a perennial vine possessing tuberous roots, however, under agrotechnical conditions, it is most often cultivated as an annual plant. It is used primarily for growing on supports in gardens and vegetable patches.
