The plant is a climbing vine reaching a height of 1.8 meters or more, which requires the use of supports. The variety is characterized by rapid growth; fruit maturation occurs 80–100 days after sowing.
The fruits are fleshy, smooth, medium-green pods 20–30 cm long. Young pods contain no fiber; the plant's flowers can also be consumed. Mature seeds cannot be eaten raw due to the presence of anti-nutritional substances.
The variety possesses increased drought tolerance and is capable of fruit set in hot weather. The plant is susceptible to diseases typical for the species, including downy and powdery mildew, chocolate spot, and root rots, and is also damaged by aphids and slugs.
