The variety is the result of selection from a local population of Phleum pratense from Southern Norway. It is a loose-bunch plant with a strong root system, erect stems, and a cylindrical inflorescence. The variety is intended for use in grass mixtures with other grasses and clover.
The plant belongs to the early-maturing group. It is characterized by high green mass and dry matter yield, as well as the ability to persist for a long time in the sward. The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of northern regions and possesses good winter hardiness.
