The variety is intended for use as a forage crop. It is characterized by high yield and the ability to quickly regrow after mowing, outperforming a number of other Scandinavian timothy varieties in these indicators, provided that early mowing is performed.
The variety is included in the official state lists of a number of countries and is being studied in the context of winter hardiness and adaptation to harsh climatic conditions, including resistance to ice crust impact.
