The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work with early forms of timothy grass selected from nine European varieties. It belongs to the early maturity group.
The plant possesses good winter hardiness and the ability for stable growth. Studies show a dry matter yield of over 7 t/ha.
It is used as a fodder crop for establishing hayfields and pastures, as well as in the composition of fodder grass mixtures. The possibility of application in scientific research related to soil phytoremediation is mentioned.
