Variety description

The plant is an evergreen perennial forming dense carpets of narrow needle-like leaves. Bush height is about 0.1 m with a spread of up to 0.5–1 m. The foliage maintains its decorative appearance throughout the year.

The flowers have a lavender-blue shade with a darker eye and notches on the edges of the petals. Abundant flowering is observed in the period from April to May. The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness down to -45 °C.

The variety prefers full sun, well-drained and poor soils, and possesses drought tolerance. It is used for decorating rock gardens, borders, retaining walls, and growing in containers. To maintain shape, pruning after flowering is recommended.
