The plant is a compact shrub with shiny green leaves that have a dark margin and a white central vein; sometimes a variegated yellow-green coloring is found. The plant's shoots are distinguished by a dark, almost black color.
The dark red flowers are gathered in corymbose inflorescences and have a honey scent. The variety has moderate winter hardiness, is demanding of soil drainage, and is sensitive to waterlogging in the winter period.
The variety is used in ornamental gardening for creating hedges, solitary plantings, or for cultivation in containers due to the compact shape of the crown and the decorative properties of the foliage.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
