The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant 30–50 cm in height, forming a basal rosette of large leaves. The plant is characterized by intensive growth and the ability to adapt to full sun or partial shade conditions, preferring moist and well-drained soils.

The aucubin glycoside content in the leaves is about 2%. The variety is used for obtaining medicinal raw materials containing mucilage, bitters, and flavonoids, and is also used in cooking as leafy greens. In agriculture, the variety is being researched as a promising forage crop that contributes to reducing nitrogen losses in the soil.
