The variety is used as a highly productive forage crop for cattle and horses. The plant is valued for its calcium and phosphorus content in a 2:1 ratio and its ability to form significant leaf mass in the basal rosette.
The variety possesses increased resistance to moisture deficit. When cultivated in pure stands, the seeding rate is 20 kg/ha at a sowing depth of 1–2 cm, with the sowing period lasting from April to August.
