The plant possesses good lateral growth capacity and maintains a green color during the winter period. Due to high resistance to trampling and mechanical stress, the variety is actively used in professional sports grass mixtures for football pitches.

Borsala is used for establishing sports grounds, ornamental and recreational lawns. Due to the naturally slow germination characteristic of Poa pratensis, seeds of this variety often undergo special treatment to accelerate seedling formation.
