The «Platini» variety is characterized by high turf density and good leaf structure. The plant possesses above-average shade tolerance, which allows it to be effectively used in specialized grass mixtures.

As a perennial low-growing rhizomatous-bunchgrass, the variety has a well-developed root system that promotes turf recovery. The plant tolerates regular mowing well.
