The variety is distinguished by low vertical growth intensity, which reduces the need for frequent mowing. The plant possesses good resistance to typical fungal diseases under high humidity conditions and rust. It forms a medium dark green sward with medium leaf fineness and high turf density.

Winter hardiness of the variety is assessed as medium, while spring regrowth may occur with some delay. Phily is a durable component of grass mixtures, capable of self-regeneration, demonstrates competitiveness against weeds, and is suitable for areas with intensive traffic.
