The variety is used in breeding programs as a parent line and is included in popular seed mixtures. Under experimental conditions, Ridgeline demonstrates low daily water consumption rates, which contributes to maintaining the ornamental properties of the turf under limited irrigation.

The height of mature plants varies from 56.2 to 69.4 cm. In Oregon conditions, heading begins in late April – early May. The variety regularly undergoes testing for adaptability and disease resistance within the framework of NTEP programs.
