The variety belongs to the late-ripening category. The fruits are characterized by specific organoleptic properties and the absence of a red blush on the skin, which distinguishes them from most of the genotypes studied. The soluble solids content in the fruits is about 13.0 °Brix.
The variety is used in commercial fruit growing and breeding programs as a parental form, for example, in the development of the Silvana variety. It is being studied in the context of processing, in particular for puree production, and is undergoing testing for Plum pox virus in nurseries.
