Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree of this variety possesses strong growth vigor and an upright crown shape, which is convenient for pruning and training. Flowering is late and abundant. The variety is self-fertile, adapted to the climatic conditions of the Rhône Valley, and is suitable for commercial production and industrial processing.

The fruits have a globular shape and a bright orange skin color. They are large, with an average weight of about 80 g. The flesh of the fruits is very firm, crisp, and juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety has high and regular productivity, as well as winter hardiness.

In agronomic research, the variety underwent comparative trials for susceptibility to Monilinia and leaf rust. The ripening time falls in the mid-late period, coinciding with the Goldrich variety.
