The tree is characterized by high vigor and forms an open or semi-spreading canopy, demonstrating stable productivity. The variety is self-fertile and hardy, adapting well to the conditions of central and southern Italy.

The fruits have a round or slightly oval shape, often with a red blush on the sun-exposed side. The flesh is of medium firmness, sweet and aromatic, moderately juicy. The harvest ripens from the end of June to the beginning of July and is suitable for both fresh consumption and industrial processing.

The variety belongs to the category of traditional Vesuvian apricots (known as crisommole) and is the result of folk selection.
