The tree is of medium to low vigor with a rounded crown, entering fruit production in the 4th year. It fruits predominantly on short fruiting spurs and mixed branches. Most often grafted onto cherry plum (Prunus cerasifera).

Late-maturing variety; the harvest period falls between late July and early August. Possesses good winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and resistance to spring frosts due to late flowering. Included in the list of varieties resistant to premature wilting.

Fruits are large, spherical, slightly elongated in shape, yellow-orange in color with a bright red blush. The flesh is orange, firm and juicy; the stone separates, the kernel is sweet. Intended for fresh consumption and industrial processing. The variety is self-fertile.
