The Digat tree has good vigor and forms a semi-spreading canopy. Flowering is late; the variety is self-fertile and can act as a pollinator for other apricot varieties.
Fruits ripen two days after the Goldrich variety and reach 2A or 3A size categories. They are characterized by a contrasting bright red color, as well as firm and juicy flesh.
The variety is intended for commercial fruit growing and production of marketable produce. When growing, it is recommended to consider the plant's susceptibility to bacterial canker and Monilinia.
