The Early Moorpark variety, also known as Storey's, is a vigorously growing tree 3 to 5 meters in height. The fruits are medium to large in size and characterized by a rich flavor.
The variety is self-fertile, however, the presence of cross-pollination with other varieties contributes to increased yield. The plant belongs to the category of conditionally winter-hardy and, in regions with cold climates, requires protected planting sites to prevent damage to flowers from spring frosts.
