The variety belongs to the extra-early category with a ripening period in mid-May. The tree has medium or strong vigor, a semi-erect or spreading crown, with long fruit-bearing branches. Flowering is early or mid-early with high intensity; the tree is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators.
The fruits are medium-sized, round or ellipsoid, orange in color with a red blush on 30–50% of the surface. The flesh is orange, juicy, with a good balance of sugar and acid; the stone separates well. There is a medium susceptibility of the fruits to cracking in the suture area.
The tree's resistance to frost and diseases, including Monilinia, is rated as medium. The tree is sensitive to damage to the wood from winter frosts. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation and the fresh market.
