The Medianta variety tree is characterized by a semi-spreading crown shape and medium to above-average vigor. The variety is self-fertile and has been validated for resistance to Plum pox virus (PPV). The experimental code for the variety is M.20.153.
Fruits of 2A size have an oval shape, orange flesh, a firmness of 70–80 units, and a sugar content of about 14 degrees Brix. The ripening period occurs 4 days after the Carmingo Mediabel variety.
