Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties «Rózsakajszi C. 320» (or «Rózsakajszi C. 230») and «Ceglédi bíborkajszi». The tree has medium vigor and forms a sparse crown with upward-directed branches. The leaves are matte-green, round in shape, with medium-serrated margins.

The variety is self-fertile and produces regular yields. The cone-spherical fruits have shiny orange skin with a blush covering 50 to 70% of the surface. The flesh is firm, juicy, and aromatic; the fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and canning.

The plant possesses good frost resistance and medium disease resistance, though it can be sensitive to the plum pox virus. The fruiting period occurs in August, 4–5 days after the «Magyar kajszi» variety. A feature of the variety is a certain unevenness in fruit ripening.
