The variety «Венгерская лучшая» is a vigorous tree reaching 4–5 meters on vigorous rootstocks. The flowering period occurs in April, and fruit ripening takes place in late July — early August.

The fruits are medium-sized, yellow-orange in color, and have a characteristic suture. The fruit flesh is orange-yellow, fragrant, with a sweet-sour taste. The variety is self-fertile and adapted for fresh consumption, as well as for various types of processing and canning.
