The tree is of medium vigor, has a spreading crown shape and upright red-brown branches. The leaves are obovate and medium in size. Flowers of medium diameter are equipped with light pink elliptical petals; the variety is self-fertile.
Fruits weighing 55–65 g have an oblong, rhombic or flattened, often asymmetric shape. The skin is smooth, light orange, sometimes covered with a pink-red blush covering up to half of the fruit surface. The flesh is light orange, moderately fibrous, and is characterized by low acidity and a sweet taste.
The variety belongs to the local agrobiodiversity of the Apulia region and has been cultivated since ancient times. The flowering and fruit ripening period is medium.
