The Swired tree has medium to strong vigor and an upright canopy with good branching. The variety is distinguished by early flowering, with flowers possessing a certain resistance to spring frosts. Fruiting is characterized by high productivity and self-fertility.
The elongated, almond-shaped fruits reach 2A/3A sizes and have firm flesh. The primary skin color is intense orange with an extensive red blush. The variety matures approximately 7 days after the Bergeron variety and is intended for commercial cultivation due to good transportability and keeping quality.
