The tree is characterized by vigorous or medium-high growth and an upright crown. The fruits are oval-shaped, have dense orange flesh with a freestone pit, and ripen in July. The variety exhibits good winter hardiness and stable yields.

Cross-pollination is recommended to increase productivity. The variety is susceptible to Plum pox virus, but relatively resistant to a number of other diseases. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and industrial processing.
