The Sucré de Holub variety, also known as Holubs Marille, is a vigorous tree suitable for various types of crown training. The fruit ripening period falls in mid-August.

The fruits are medium-sized, oval-shaped, with pale yellow skin, sometimes having a reddish blush. The flesh is characterized by juiciness and a thin structure, has a sweet taste due to a low acidity level, and is traditionally used for fresh consumption.

The plant has good overall hardiness, however, like other historical apricot varieties of European origin, it is sensitive to Plum pox virus.
