The tree is of medium to high vigor and forms large canopies with thin branches. The variety is a traditional population that likely originated from the 'Große Fruhe' (Large Common Apricot) group. It is known under the synonyms Kremser Ananas Marille, Bisamberger Ananas, and Goldananas.

The fruits are oval or round in shape, weighing from 54 to 77 g. The skin is finely pubescent, orange-yellow in color, sometimes with small red dots on the sunny side. The flesh is orange-yellow, medium-firm, moderately juicy and fibrous, and possesses a specific flavor with hints of pumpkin or melon.

The pit is large, broad, separates well from the flesh, and the seed is sweet. The variety demonstrates resistance to weather conditions. It is used primarily as a table variety, as well as for processing into jams and for baking.
