The variety Wazary (also Wazari) is a local apricot variety grown in Syria. This variety belongs to the category of landraces and has no artificially developed pedigree.
In 1966, scion samples of the variety were provided for inclusion in plant resource inventories. Detailed botanical characteristics, including ripening dates and fruit quality indicators, are not described in scientific literature. The variety is traditionally used in local horticulture of the region.
