The tree is distinguished by good vigor and a spreading crown shape with developed branching. The variety is characterized by rapid entry into the fruiting phase, which occurs in the second year. Fruiting is regular and occurs on all types of branches.
The fruits are medium-sized, have an oval-oblong shape and a bright orange color with a red blush covering from 20% to 40% of the surface. The flesh is firm and has good shelf life, and is resistant to cracking. The taste is sweet and juicy, with a sugar content of about 12° Brix.
The variety has a universal use, suitable both for fresh consumption and for processing. Data regarding pollination varies: the variety is indicated as self-incompatible, requiring the presence of pollinator varieties; however, information about self-compatibility is found in some descriptions.
