The tree is medium-sized, reaching a height of up to 5 meters, with a spreading crown and good branching. The variety is characterized by an extra-early ripening period, which in southern regions occurs in early June. The winter hardiness of the variety is high, however, early flowering creates a risk of damage by spring frosts.
The fruits have an elongated-oval shape and a weight from 50 to 110 grams. The color is bright orange with a red blush covering from 20% to 50% of the surface. The firm and juicy flesh has a sugar content of about 12° Brix and is suitable for fresh consumption, industrial processing, and canning.
The self-fertility of the variety is a subject of debate; planting pollinators is often recommended to increase yield. The variety shows good resistance to fruit cracking, but under conditions of high humidity, it can be susceptible to Monilinia and spotting.
