The variety was obtained as a result of the INRA breeding program through open pollination of the Fercer variety. It is part of the INRA breeding series, which also includes Ferpin, Fertard, Fermina, Ferdiva, and Ferdouce.
The genetic profile of the variety was determined through S-allele typing, corresponding to the S1S6 genotype. The variety is intended for commercial horticulture purposes; however, detailed morphological descriptions of the plant and its productivity indicators are not publicly available.
