10 August 2026
The variety is of Italian origin from the Fuorli del Sannio area. The tree is characterized as vigorous, resistant to adverse weather conditions and most pests, with the exception of the cherry fruit fly.
The fruits are medium-sized, heart-shaped with a pointed tip. The skin is pink with a pronounced bright red blush. The flesh is firm, crunchy, sweet, and aromatic.
Flowering occurs in the second ten-day period of April, and fruit ripening occurs from late June to early July. The fruits are used fresh and for processing, in particular for preparing cherries in alcohol.
