The Garden Bing variety is a compact tree 1.5–2.0 meters tall with a well-branched upright crown and a slow growth rate. The fruits are heart-shaped with dense glossy dark red skin and juicy, fleshy pulp with a sweet taste and a refreshing acidity.

The plant is mid-season, with fruit ripening occurring in June or July. The variety is self-fertile, characterized by high resistance to fungal diseases such as Clasterosporium carpophilum, Phyllosticta, rust, Coccomyces hiemalis, and Monilinia, and also possesses winter hardiness in the temperature range down to -20...-28 °C.
