The Koburská variety (synonyms: Koburská raná, Májovka Koburská, Koburger Mai Herkirsche, Cerise de Mai de Coburg) belongs to the heart-shaped cherries. Historically, the variety was widely distributed in the gardens of Central Europe, particularly in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The fruits of this cherry variety are early-ripening. They are small in size, heart-shaped with a bluntly rounded apex. The width of the fruit is about 2 cm, the height is about 1.9 cm. A small depression may be present on the fruit surface.
