Variety description

10 August 2026

The Knuthenborg sweet cherry cultivar is characterized by a large fruit size and extremely high resistance to cracking. The exact origin of the cultivar has not been established; information regarding other agrotechnical characteristics, including maturity dates and disease resistance, is unavailable.

As a seed source or provenance, Knuthenborg is used in forestry and landscaping as material adapted to regional conditions in Denmark. In this capacity, it is not a fruit cultivar, but a registered forest seed production site.
