The Klara variety is known in professional German fruit crop catalogs as an effective pollinator for the Regina and Papillon varieties. The variety also appears in breeding program schemes as a partner for the development of other commercial varieties.

Detailed morphological characteristics of the tree and fruit, as well as data on disease resistance in open sources, are limited, as the main area of application for the variety remains commercial fruit growing.
