Fruits of the «Kira» sweet cherry variety are distinguished by high density, large size, and a bright red color. The variety possesses an excellent aroma and harmonious taste, and the ripening of the crop occurs in June.
The tree of this variety has a growth type characterized as medium-height and shows good resistance to major leaf and wood diseases. The fruits are sensitive to excess moisture during the ripening period, therefore, in rainy regions, their protection is recommended.
To ensure regular fruiting and high yields, the varieties «Kordia» and «Regina» are recommended as pollinators for «Kira».
