The variety forms a tree of medium vigor with a round or broadly round crown of medium density. The fruits are large, weighing from 8 to 13 g and with a diameter of up to 28–30 mm, having a heart-shaped-round form. The color of the berries is dark burgundy, becoming almost black when fully ripe. The flesh is firm, cartilaginous, juicy, possesses a sweet taste with a hint of acidity and a characteristic aroma. The fruits are resistant to cracking.
The ripening period falls at the end of June – early July and can be extended. The variety is characterized as self-sterile (partially self-fertile); for pollination, the varieties Van, Hedelfinger, Linda are required. Frost resistance is approximately -20°C, resistance to Coccomyces hiemalis and Clasterosporium carpophilum is estimated as medium.
