The variety was obtained by hybridizing the varieties Ranna cherna and Bigarreau Burlat using in vitro embryo culture. The tree is characterized by medium vigor and good compatibility with rootstocks Gizela-5, P. mahaleb and P. avium. The S-genotype of the variety is S2S9; effective fruit setting requires pollinators such as Starkrimson, Rivan, Stella and Bigarreau Burlat.

The fruits are heart-shaped, with an average weight of about 7.8 g and dimensions of 22.2 × 24.8 × 21.0 mm. The skin and flesh are red, and the taste is sweet and sour. The stone accounts for 4.5% of the fruit weight. The variety shows medium resistance to fungal diseases, medium sensitivity to spring frosts and is prone to fruit cracking during heavy rainfall during ripening.
